Cheryl D. Harper Dennis (December 1, 1968 – November 4, 2015)

Cheryl D. Harper Dennis, 46, of Zanesville, died at 2:16 P.M. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the Genesis Hospital, Zanesville, where she gave the gift of life as an organ donor. She was born December 1, 1968, in Zanesville, a daughter of Diane C. Bess Harper of Zanesville and the late Robert L. Harper Sr. She had worked at Dollar General.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her son, Austin Dennis of Zanesville; her daughter Allison Dennis of Zanesville; three brothers, Robert (Sandy) Harper Jr. of Middletown, PA, John Harper of Elizabethtown, PA, and Rodney Harper of New York, NY; a sister Roberta (Sean) Harper Walters of Clarksville, TN; Godson Gavin Walters of Clarksville, TN; the father of her children, Jeffrey A. Dennis of Zanesville; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Norma J. Huffman Bess and Audrey Harper Whitehead; and her grandfathers, Ralph G. Bess and James F. C. Harper.

Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 9, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, Ohio 43701, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
