Christ Table Presents The Lego Movie
You can head out to Zane’s Landing Park this Saturday for a family fun movie night!
Outdoor Flixks teamed up with Christ’s Table to present The Lego Movie this Saturday evening at 8:15p.m. Keely Warden, executive director at Christ’s Table says that the best part of the event is that it is economical for families.
"That’s the fun thing about the whole night, we are trying to make it a very economical night for families so that everyone can afford it. Its a non-perishable food item to get into the park to watch the movie. And then concessions are just done on donations."
While the movie starts at 8:15p.m. the park opens at 6:00p.m. for some fun activities. Kids of all ages are encouraged to bring their favorite Legos for a Lego building contest before the feature presentation. Warden says that it may be a little colder than last months movie, but she doesn’t expect it to deter attendance.
"We know its going to be a little but chillier this time, so we are encouraging everybody to get out the blankets and your mittens if you have to. And maybe instead of popsicles this time, we’re going to have hot chocolate. But, its going to a fun night for families to come out and just enjoy, have a good time."
The big screen will be set up under the tent and families can bring blankets and chairs to sit on the hill and enjoy The Lego Movie.
