Christmas Around The World In Cambridge

Cambridge rang in the holiday season with its annual Christmas parade.

Wheeling Avenue was lit up Sunday evening with some holiday floats that highlighted not only the community’s creativity, but also the culture.

"A lot of German influence here. Scottish, Slovak, we have an awful lot of different ethnic groups that were happy to have displayed in the parade, " says parade Co-Chair Amy Adams.

This year’s theme was "Christmas Around The World" and before the parade even started, adams was confident the parade would be a success.

"From what I have seen this year it looks like the floats are even better than they were last year, there are a lot more floats," says Adams.

Adams says the parade helps the local economy by attracting parade-goers to shop at downtown businesses.
