Christmas Walk

More than one thousand people are reliving the journey Joseph and Mary took to Bethlehem.

The rain was falling and the wind may have blown over some of the set pieces, but the 8th annual "Bethlehem Walk" was still on.

"This is what the season is all about, the birth of Christ. It’s just a good way to start the Christmas season, " says Director Mark Kennedy.

There were some new features to the outdoor walk though this year.

"We added women at the well, and we added cages. Back then, they had cages, about the size of a phone booth, that they put people in, in town, " says Kennedy.

The "Bethlehem Walk" is a three night event put on by the Chandlersville United Methodist Church.
