ZANESVILLE – Century National Bank bought the pizzas from the Barn and staff from Century Bank as well as the Barn worked Wednesday morning to sort the pizzas that were delivered to Christ’s Table.
“We’re glad to partner with the Barn. We enjoy helping in the community. This isn’t something that’s new to us. We’ve helped in the community throughout the history of Century and we are glad to just give back to Christ’s Table – to the recipients and the employees so they don’t have to cook for a day,” Century National Bank’s Susan Lasure said.
Executive Director Keely Warden was very grateful to be on the receiving end of the donation.
“Its wonderful acts of kindness like this that at this point in time – when its crazy and we’re serving so many meals, we have two partners step up and say that we want to help. We see what you’re doing, we want to be a part of what you’re doing, it’s been a wonderful break for our employees today to not have to cook and its also going to be such a treat for the people that we serve,” Warden said.
Warden was also excited because she said this is the first time that many of the people they serve will get to try the Barn’s signature pizza for the first time.
