Chuckie Needs a Forever Home

It’s time to introduce you to Chuckie, the Animal Shelter’s “Pet of the Week.”

Chuckie is a domestic, short-haired cat with a beautiful black coat. He is a very playful and energetic cat, who will jump right into your arms. Executive Director, Jody Murray, said the fury feline would make the perfect addition to your family.

“He’s about 6-months old, very good with other animals, cats and dogs, good with people, his adoption fee is $70, which includes he’s already been neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, so just another good cat and he’s looking for a family,” Murray said.

The Animal Shelter’s biggest event of the year is coming up in just a few weeks. This year, the Auction will be at EagleSticks Golf Club on October 10. Murray said there is still seating available for just $25 per person.

“For that, you’ll get a wonderful meal, dessert from Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl, and the opportunity to participate in our silent and live auction, where we have many great items coming up this year,” Murray said.

All proceeds from the Auction benefit the Animal Shelter.
