NORWICH

Cindy Henceroth died at 66 years old on August 29, 2026, with her husband and daughter by her side.

She was a daughter, spouse, mother, grandmother, friend, artist, feminist, jigsaw puzzler, and a rescuer of many cats.
Cindy’s life and career was defined by creativity and compassion. She began her career as an art therapist, then she worked to help young adults with learning disabilities graduate college. Cindy ended her career doing something she really had a love and gift for; counseling children on the autism spectrum. Outside of work she enjoyed flea marketing with her husband, spent many years at the dance studio with her daughter, and loved every minute of being a wonderful Gaga to her grandson.

She is survived by her spouse of 36 years, Jim Henceroth; daughter, Kelsey Funk; grandson, Freddie Funk; mother, Connie Marshall; brother, John Marshall; and nieces, Ashley and Abby Marshall.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2PM, Sunday, September 6, 2026, in the Snouffer Chapel. The service to celebrate Cindy will begin at 2PM.

Cremation services have been entrusted to the Snouffer Crematory. The SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE has the distinct honor of serving the family.
