The circus comes to town

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Elephants, acrobats, and clowns overtook the Muskingum County Fairgrounds earlier Sunday.
The Garden Brothers Circus made a one day stop here in Zanesville to bring entertainment to the people. They are one of the oldest running circuses in the U.S. and feature many different acts.
“Our circus is the oldest traveling circus in America,” said the head of public relations Roderick Snipes. “We combine acts from all over the world to give the customer an entertainment experience they will never forget. We have hair hanging acts, we have an awesome elephant act, we have juggling acts, we have quick change acts, we have a variety of entertainment.”
Guests were captivated by the motorbikes racing around the Sphere of Fear and had a great time laughing with the clowns. Snipes says the best part about the circus is seeing the happiness it brings to the kids and their families.
“Truth be told, even though it’s tiring sometimes when you stand, and you watch the people leave, and you hear all the little kids talking about the circus that’s the greatest part,” said Snipes. “Coming to our circus is a once in a lifetime experience.”
Guests were also able to ride the elephants before the show and snack on all of the traditional circus foods of popcorn, snowcones, and cotton candy.
