City Council: 6th Street Bridge closing

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville City Council held their meeting Monday night.
The Council approved an ordinance to authorize a city official to accept bids to replace part of the roof on the old Times Recorder building. The building is currently used by the Zanesville Police Department for police training.
Also, Mayor Jeff Tilton reminded the Council that the 6th Street Bridge will be closing for 20 days starting Monday, April 16th. The bridge will only be open to emergency personnel. Drivers will need to find alternative routes.
The next City Council meeting will take place Monday, April 23rd at 7 p.m.
