City Tire Pros’ Players of the Week – January 6th-11th

ZANESVILLE, OH

Starting with our game from Z92, where Maysville emerged victorious over West Muskingum in an all-Zanesville affair, and Maysville was led by junior forward Jordyn Watson, who poured in 21 points in the 25-point win for the home standing Panthers.

Then from AM 1240 for a pair of games from last week, as Zanesville continues to play its best ball of the season. It was a perfect week for the Blue Devils, with LCL wins over Lakewood and Licking Valley, and a big part of it is a newfound sixth man role from junior guard David Evans, as Zanesville now sits third in the Buckeye division.

It was a history-making game for Crooksville’s Konlan McIntyre, becoming the second boys player in school history to crack the 1,000 point plateau, and that moment was part of a 25-point performance in the Ceramics’ win over Meadowbrook on Highway 103 on Friday night.

Congratulations to all three athletes who were honored.
