Clara Rose Maxwell (January 17, 1944 – May 20, 2012)

Clara Rose Maxwell, 68 of Chandlersville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 20, 2012 at her home.

Clara was born January 17, 1944 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Daniel and Violet (Alexander) Whitmire. She was a 1962 graduate of Philo High School. She worked as a co-manager for the Calvary Baptist Bookstore and she held a Bible Club in her home for several years.

Clara is survived by her husband Jerald Maxwell whom she married April 18, 1969; three daughters Elizabeth (Clinton) Wright of Zanesville, Ruth (Cory) Damm of Woodbridge, VA and Danielle (Tim) Morgan of Cottonwood, AZ; 6 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, one step great-granddaughter; her sister Faye (Phil) Walker of Zanesville, her uncle Donald Alexander of Zanesville and her nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 10 am Saturday with Pastor Mark Ballmer officiating. She will be laid to rest in Chandlersville Cemetery.
