Clyde Revennaugh

Clyde John Revennaugh, 93, of Chandlersville, passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2026. He was born on June 29, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan and spend most of his life in Chandlersville, where he built a life rooted in hard work, faith, and family.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Ark Baptist Church in Chandlersville, OH. Family will greet friends from 5-7pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Farus Funeral Home, in Duncan Falls. John will be laid to rest at Ark Spring Cemetery following the service.
John was known as a man of many trades, always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge. He retired from the Conesville Power Plant after years of dedicated service. John was also a proud veteran of the United States Army, having spent much of his service stationed in Germany.
A man of deep faith, John was a devoted member of Ark Spring Baptist Church, where he attended faithfully for over 70 years.
He had a love for adventure and outdoors, especially camping and exploring. John traveled extensively, visiting destinations across the United States and Europe, creating lasting memories along the way.
John is survived by his wife, Julia Brownfield-Revennaugh; his daughters, Heidi (Robinson) Kirkpatrick and Dianna Dickson; and his five grandchildren, Brady Harmon, Casey (Erin) Fritz, Bobby Fritz, Brien Kirkpatrick, and Christine (Gerry) Raymond. He also leaves behind eight great grandchildren, Baylee Harmon, Lucas Kirkpatrick, Samantha Raymond, David Raymond, Anthony Fritz, Johnny Fritz, Cam Fritz, and Will Fritz, as well as several stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his daughters, Inge Revennaugh; parents, Clyde and Dorothy Revennaugh; brother, Thomas Revennaugh; and great granddaughter, Gracie Belle Harmon.
John will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of family, his faith, his service to his country, and his adventurous spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion that will be cherished by all who knew him.
