Clyta J. Dutro (June 27, 1920 – June 15, 2011)

Clyta June Dutro, 90 of Blue Rock, passed away surrounded by family at 11:22pm at the Highland Oaks Health Center on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
She was born in Adamsville, Ohio June 27, 1920 to the late Merrill and Bernice (Bowden) Stewart. Clyta was co-owner of Dutro Homes Rio Villa, with her late husband Kenneth. She was involved with the Zanes and Janes, the Card Club in Philo, and enjoyed traveling with their Airstream trailer, and loved M&M candies.
Clyta is survived by her sons: Jerry (Molly McElfresh) Dutro, Victor (Xiulan) Dutro Robert (Roni) Dutro; brother: Kenneth Stewart, sister: Helena Amadio, Grandchildren: Brian (Dawn) Dutro, Robi (Stacey) Dutro, Tony (Monica) Dutro, Britt Hanson, Bolin Xie, Shannon Longstreth and Patty Everson; Great-Grandchildren: Beau, Breanna, Hayden, Jaiden, Tony II, Brooke, Shayna, Brandon and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband Clyta is also preceded in death by her sisters; Emma Lucille Atkinson and Opal Goff and granddaughter Kelly McInerney-Morrison.
Visitation will be from 1 – 4 pm Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Dennis Baker officiating. Committal services will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Dutro family also wishes to acknowledge the caring staff at Highland Oaks Nursing Home and Genesis Hospice who all gave such great care to Clyta and the family.
