Coats for Kids drive

The Salvation Army held its annual "Coats for Kids" clothing event this week.

The event took place yesterday and today from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. By noon today the Salvaton Army had already given out 500 coats. If you missed "Coats for Kids" don’t worry, Executive Director Mindy McCloy says there is still time to get a winter coat for you and your entire family.

"Families, they can come in and get coats all year long, we give them out. So, starting on Monday if somebody still needs a coat they can come in."

The Salvation Army is open from 8 am until 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
