Coca Cola Collectors Show Wraps Up
It is a brand as American as baseball and apple pie and Saturday the Coca Cola Collectors Show is wrapping up in Zanesville.
The 27th Annual Coca Cola Collectors Show, Trade and Swap Meet at the Ramada Inn ended today with an auction of memorabilia. The show had around 80 attendees.
"But all in all it has been a good convention, attendance is down but we are having a great time," says Warren Kramer, a Coca Cola Collector and auctioneer.
Kramer attributes the down attendance to the economy and winter weather. But organizers expect attendance to be up next year. There were many items up for sale and trade and certain Coca Cola bottles were worth hundreds of dollars.
"There weren’t very many made and they are old, but it takes both things and the condition they are in. Just like with coins, just because it is old doesn’t make it valuable," says Kramer.
Organizers say not many Zanesville residents attended the show. The majority of attendees were from Canada and the eastern states.
