Come Aboard The "christmas Red Eye" To Benefit Christ's Table

The holidays are upon us, and what better way to enjoy the Christmas season than spending a weekend in New York City.

Christ’s Table is inviting the community to come aboard the “Christmas Red-Eye” to experience a New York City Christmas tradition firsthand. The organization is trying a new fundraiser this year, and needs your help filling the bus, so they can “fill a plate.” Executive Director, Keely Warden, said tickets are going fast, and there are only six seats left.

“If you’re interested, we’ll be leaving on Friday, December 4, about 10 p.m. and will drive straight through to New York, you can wear your pj’s, then you get to New York City, you have 12 hours of shopping, or if you want to do sightseeing, check out Rockefeller Center’s lights, you have 12 hours to do what you want,” Warden said.

The bus will then depart from NYC at 7 p.m. Saturday, and head back to Zanesville. The 30-hour long excursion is only $125 per person, and all proceeds will benefit Christ’s Table.

“We’re hoping when it’s all over and done with, we’ll make a couple of thousand dollars off of it, so that we can continue to serve hot and nutritious meals all winter,” Warden said.

To reserve a seat on the bus, you can contact Christ’s Table, at (740)-452-9766.
