Command Center reports 6 deaths and 802 new cases of COVID-19 in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–The Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center on Wednesday reported the following Muskingum County deaths from COVID-19: a 49-year-old, a 61-year-old, and a 59-year-old who died with
acute respiratory failure due to COVID-19; a 61-year-old and an 87-year-old who died with
COVID-19 pneumonia; a 62-year-old who died with COVID-19.
The Command Center also reported 802 new Muskingum County residents have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last seven days. This number breaks down as follows: 126 reported on 9/15, 185 reported on 9/16, 110 reported on 9/17, 129 reported on 9/18, 66 reported on 9/19, 61 reported on 9/20, and 125 reported on 9/21.
There are 2,394 active cases of COVID-19 in Muskingum County along with 20 active vaccine breakthrough cases and 41 hospitalizations.
So far, 53.50 % of Muskingum County residents have completed the vaccination process.
