Command Center reports five new COVID-19 related deaths in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, Ohio— The Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center reported Monday that five more residents have died from COVID-19.
Officials said the deaths included the following: a 91-year-old, a 60-year-old, and a 90-year-old who died from COVID-19 pneumonia; a 91-year-old and an 89-year-old who died with COVID-19.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 46 in Muskingum County.
The Command Center also reported that 206 more residents have tested positive for COVID-19. This number breaks down as follows: 82 reported on 12/18, 76 reported on 12/19, and 48 reported on 12/20.
There are now 1,195 active cases of COVID-19 and 50 current hospitalizations in Muskingum County.
