Community Youth Foundation Holding Grant Competition

The Community Youth Foundation wants you to apply for their grant competition.

The grant has been given out for 3 years now and is open to all non-profits in Muskingum County. Director of Donor Services and Community Youth Foundation (CYF) Advisor, Juliet Lacy told us how much the grant is worth.

“The first year, 2013 we were able to award $1250. We were able to bring that up to $1500 last year and this year, CYF has been very successful in their fundraising efforts and so we’re going to award $2000.”

The deadline to apply is at noon, on Friday April 10th. Lacy says the grants are very helpful when it comes to supporting the organizations with the community.

“It can help various community organizations that serve youth with projects….a lot of times there are small projects that maybe someone isn’t asking for a lot of money for, but they just need that little bit to help out and we hope to be able to help them.”
