Connie Rhodes
Connie Sue Rhodes, 69 of Roseville, died, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at her home following a sudden illness. She was born Sunday, May 6, 1956, in Zanesville, the daughter Betty J. Willey. She married Jacob W. Rhodes on Saturday, September 29, 1973.
Connie was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who spent her life caring for those she loved deeply. Her love for her family was unwavering.
Her greatest passions, beside her family, were bingo, playing poker and gossiping. She could often be found shopping with her very special friend, Tonya Dennis. Connie was outgoing, and well known by everyone. She never met a stranger, and was loved by all who knew her.
Connie is survived by her husband of over 52 years, Jacob Rhodes; two sons, Gary Rhodes of Roseville and Brent Rhodes of Athens; four grandchildren, Austin (Amanda McElroy) Rhodes, Brittany Rhodes, Dominic Rhodes and Dominique Rhodes; several great grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Willey; two aunts, Barb (Jerry) Acheson and Billie Willey; one uncle, Gene Swingle; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her extended family, the Evans’.
In addition to her mother, Connie was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth “Kenny” Willey.
A caring cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held 12 Noon, Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Veterans Complex, Muskingum County Fairgrounds, 1300 Pershing Road, Zanesville. Food donations for the celebration will be accepted. Anyone wishing to donate may arrive early.
