Convicted Sex Offender Facing More Sex Charges

Zanesville Police Chief Kenneth Miller says a Zanesville man is facing multiple sex charges. The Chief says 58-year-old Robert Smith, a previously convicted sex offender, has been charged with six counts of rape and three counts of gross sexual imposition. Miller says this case involved Smith engaging in sex with a minor under the age of 13 during a period of time from August 15th 2012 to November 13th 2015. Smith is currently being held in the Zanesville City Jail on one-million dollars bond.
