Coshocton Shooting Investigated

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a weekend shooting incident. Sheriff Tim Rogers says Sunday around 11:00 am deputies received a report about a home burglary in the 14,000 block of State Route 16. When officers arrived the suspects had left the scene but the homeowner reported several items stolen from the residence.  Sheriff Rogers says at around 2; 00 pm his office received a call about a shooting at the same location. Investigators say it appears the homeowner shot one of two male suspects, who was transported to Genesis Hospital. Rogers says two adults were taken into custody. The incident remains under investigation.
