Coshocton Shooting Suspect in Custody

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect in a Coshocton shooting incident has been found and arrested. Deputies say just before 8:00 a.m. Sunday Mark Ray’s truck was spotted on Morgan Run Road in Coshocton. The Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit was called to the scene and found Ray in a nearby wood area. After a standoff Ray was taken into custody by the Coshocton County Special Response Team. Saturday deputies were called to the parking lot of a local Coshocton restaurant after a shooting and found the victim 34-year-old Alisha Melton. She was transported to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
