Coshocton Woman To Repay $20,000 For Workers’ Comp Fraud
A Coshocton County woman has pleaded guilty to workers’ compensation fraud and will now pay back almost 20,000 dollars. The Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation says Mary Cox was working as a bartender at the Coshocton V-F-W while receiving Permanent Total Disability benefits for a workplace injury. Cox entered her plea to a fifth degree felony in Franklin County Common Pleas Court this week. Cox was order to pay 19,231 dollars in restitution to the Bureau of Workers Compensation and 500 dollars in administrative costs. Cox made a 6000 dollar payment toward restitution following her court appearance. Her sentencing is set for March 31st.
