Counter Kettles at Salvation Army
Red kettle season is over at the salvation army, but they’re going to keep the campaign going.
The Salvation Army’s headquarters has decided to match all money raised in fundraising this year. Ministry Assistant, Dustin Redmond, says they came up with the idea to put small, counter kettles on the walls at The Salvation Army for a small donation of $1.
“Anyone who wants to come in and purchase a counter kettle for one dollar off the wall, they can put their name on the wall and a dollar will be donated towards our debt.”
Redmond says this will be a great way to invite the community in so they can see where the money they donate goes and to also be familiar with their local Salvation Army.
