Couple Taken By Helicopter After Accident
Two people were taken to the hospital by medical helicopter after an accident at the intersection of U.S. Route 36 and County Road 621 in Coshocton.
According to Deputy Chris Walters with the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, around 3:45 Tuesday afternoon 61-year-old Beverly Brillhart of Coshocton was driving northbound on County Road 621 when she failed to yield for another vehicle traveling westbound on U.S. 36.
The driver of that vehicle 52-year-old Jonni Masters of West Lafayette and her husband 51-year-old Richard Masters were both taken to Akron General Hospital by helicopter. Jonni is in surgical intensive care in serious condition and Richard is in serious condition.
Brillhart was cited in the accident for failure-to-yield.
