Crime Stoppers Offer Reward Following Aggravated Burglary

The Licking County Crime Stoppers are offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated burglary in Newark.

The Newark Division of Police reports, around 1:00 a.m. on Oct. 1, suspects entered a home on the 100 block of N. 24th Street and struck a 61-year-old man with a crowbar several times while he was sleeping.

The suspects stole two TV’s, cash, and a cell phone. The suspects were described as white males and approximately 6-foot tall. One had blond hair.
