Daniels Arraigned in Death of Wife

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says the husband of a woman shot to death appeared in court Wednesday. 28-year-old Josh Daniels pled not guilty to multiple charges in the death of 25-year-old Bandy Daniels of Nashport including aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and menacing by stalking. Prosecutor Mike Haddox says Muskingum County Sheriff’s Deputies had to travel to Alaska to bring Daniels back to face the charges. Sheriff Matt Lutz says Daniels and 38-year-old Sirius Underwood of Zanesville, who already pled not guilty, are charged with killing Brandy Daniels on May 5th of 2014 as she was driving home and talking on her cell phone with her boyfriend. Ms. Daniels was found by her sister just before 11:00 p.m. in the 6000 block of McCaslin Road in Nashport. She was in the driver’s seat of her car which was still running. Judge Mark Fleegle continued Daniels bond at two-million dollars.
