Daphne D. Cheatham, 39 of Zanesville, passed away on April 15, 2025, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

She was born on October 9, 1985, in Seymour, Indiana, daughter of Doug Foster and Cheryl (Shawn Wynn) Foster. Daphne was a graduate of Brownstown Central High School in 2004. She later graduated from Indiana University/Purdue University of Columbus, Indiana, where she gained her Psychology Degree in Early Education. She worked as a social worker for the National Youth Advocate Program in Zanesville and surrounding counties over the last couple years, in which she loved to do. She enjoyed diamond painting, camping, concerts, and going on many trips. She was a very adventurous person who was loved and will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Daphne is survived by her husband, Will Cheatham; son, Theodore Davis; 4 siblings, Jennifer (Ryan) May, Zach Foster, Michael Knapp, Katie Knapp; niece, Lilly May; nephews, Jensen May, Blaize May; aunt, Brenda (Ron) Wilson; uncles, Michael Wolka, Doug (Brenda) Wolka, Gary (Lisa) Foster; several cousins, friends, and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; 2 aunts: Carolyn Wolka and Ruthie Wolka.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday April 25, 2025, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 7:30 PM with Fr. David Young officiating.
