Darlene Crozier

Darlene R. Crozier, 60, of Dresden, passed away at 3:57PM Sunday, January 5th, 2025, in the Genesis Hospital CCU surrounded by her loved ones.

Darlene was born July 27th, 1964, in Zanesville, daughter of the late James P. Sarchet and Josephine J. (Untied) Sarchet. She worked at The Longeberger Co. for 6 years; she also worked as a bartender at Bogey’s Tavern which she enjoyed immensely. Darlene had a deep love of the beach and always sought to visit, she was known as a safe place to go for those that needed it and loved the Spyro the Dragon series.

Darlene is survived by her soul mate of 31 years, Dempsey S. Crozier whom she married in June of 1993 and three children: Michael Slaughter, Quinton (Krinata Herda) Crozier of Dresden and Brandy (Liam Bender) Crozier of Zanesville. She was a grandmother of two grandchildren: Zachary Beaver and Trista Beaver; one great-grandchild, Osiris Beaver; and loved her beloved cat, Jinx.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, is her adopted son, Alex M. King and her cherished cat Nala.

Friends may get in contact with her children about her celebration of life that will be held later in this year. Cremation will follow at the request of Darlene.
