Date and Time Changes for Early Voting
Following a Supreme Court Ruling Monday, the Secretary of State issued a directive stating a change in the dates and hours of early voting for the November 4th General Elections.
Voters had been slated to cast an early ballot beginning Tuesday, but the directive changed the voting to October 7th. Chris Hamill Director of the Muskingum County Board of Elections detailed the change.
Tthat’s the new start date. The hours did change. Our new hours are from 8-5"said Hamill.
Hamill also pointed out that there will be two Saturdays and one Sunday that people can vote. Hamill also says that the last day to register to vote in the State of Ohio is October 6th.
