David Bell

David L. Bell Jr. age 67 of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the Beckett House in New Concord. He was born on October 27, 1958 in Cambridge.
Mr. Bell was a graduate of Cambridge High School, his last two years he attended Mid East Career Center in Zanesville. He loved going to Church and was a member of the Christ’s Lutheran Church in Cambridge. He loved working on and playing guitars. He had worked in many different retail stores around the Cambridge area. He enjoyed watching crime shows on television and listening to the Cambridge radio station. Dave was a resident at Cambridge Place for about 6 years. Prior to that he spent a lot of time at Bell Forrest on Mathers Road, helping and taking care of his father. He enjoyed people and had a lot of friends.
David is survived by: his mother Anne L. (Hitchcock) Bell; his son Derek Lee Bell; Derek’s mother Tarita Bell Garretson; his siblings, Deborah Eltringham (Tony Untied and family) and Daniel Bell (Debbie Brown and family); many nieces and nephews including Corinne (Gene) Galloway; and an uncle Harry Hitchcock.
Dave is preceded in death by his father David L. Bell Sr., and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 10am to 1pm with a service to begin at 1pm. Pastor Jeff Hancock will officiate the service with burial to take place in Northwood Cemetery.
