David L. Adams (April 3, 1934 – June 7, 2012)
David L. Adams, 78, of Zanesville, passed away at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday, June 7, 2012.
He was born in Zanesville on April 3, 1934 the son of the late Charles R. Adams and Margaret Snyder Adams. David retired after 44 years of service from United Technologies, where he worked in the Die Shop. After retiring he spent most of his time working and playing at Eagle Sticks Golf Course. David was a Y-City little league coach for 4 years and played slow pitch softball and baseball with the Senior Pioneers.
David is the loving husband of 57 years to Sandra Tuttle Adams, loving dad to Marc (Margaret) Adams, beloved grandfather to Shane Adams and Shannon Scott dear brother to Jane Hupp, Marjorie Moyer, Richard Adams, Lloyd Adams and Ronnie Adams. He is also the special brother-in-law to Cherie Sayre; cherished uncle, cousin and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brothers Ned and Larry Adams and his sister Shirley Hupp and grandson Dustin Matthew Adams.
The family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME 2318 Maple Ave. where friends may call Monday, June 11, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Viewing will continue Tuesday, from 12 PM until the time of service at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
