David Lee Newell

David Lee Newell, 58, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at his home. David was born May 14, 1963 to the late Leo Newell and Marlene Merrigan. . In addition to his parents, David is also preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Newell and Robert Newell.
David leaves to treasure his memory, his sisters-in-law, Christine Newell and Shana Newell; siblings, Donna (Rick) Foster, Crystal (Derrick) Maples, James (Joshua) Newell and Bill (Cheryl) Conaway; nieces and nephews; Seth, Taylor, Marlee, Alexie, Chance, Nicole, Chase, Ashley and Zachary (Ashley); and a host of other family and friends.
David was a dry-wall hanger by trade, and he loved his work. He also enjoyed lawn care, spending hours atop the riding mower manicuring the lawn. David was a kind hearted man who would do anything for anyone he encountered. He was a lover of people. Above most else, David cherished his time spent with family, especially their ‘cousin weekend’ of this past summer, where 24 of them were able to share time and memories. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Per the family’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
