David V. Godby (March 21, 1941 – February 7, 2016)

ZANESVILLE
David Vincent Godby 74 of Zanesville passed away on Sunday February 7, 2016 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room following a long illness. He was born in Zanesville on March 21, 1941 to the late Gerald and Golda Bell Godby. He was Christian by faith and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass in 1993.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Mahon Godby whom he married October 18, 1969, five sisters: Geraldine Behrendson of Sandusky, Lori Godby of McConnelsville, Mary Bell of Dayton, Kathryn Tyo, and Sally Allen both of Zanesville. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Larry, John, and Fred Godby.
