Deadline Approaches for Zane State’s Selective Health Programs
ZANESVILLE, OH – The deadline to apply for Zane State College’s Selective Health Programs is quickly approaching.
The deadline to apply for the Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Radiologic Technology, and Medical Laboratory programs at Zane State is April 1st.
Samantha Ramsey, an Admissions Counselor and Communications Specialist, says these programs are selective due to the high volume of students interested in these fields.
“What’s really unique about some of our programs is the different clinical sites and experience that our students get,” Ramsey said. “Depending on the program, they might be visiting a school for example for some hours, they might be going to a hospital, some inpatient settings, outpatient, it really is never ending, the opportunities.”
Ramsey also says thanks to the great partnerships and connections Zane State has with local healthcare facilities, students are able to get the field training they need in order to graduate.
“They’re very hands-on, whether you like working directly with patients or if you like more behind the scenes, we have something for everyone,” Ramsey said. “It’s really a great option for students that are looking to get into healthcare.”
