Deals and Meals: Bin Mania and Jamie’s Cheesesteaks Open at Colony Square

ZANESVILLE, OH–Two new businesses are officially open inside Colony Square Mall. Bin Mania and Jamie’s Cheesesteaks held their ribbon cuttings this morning.

Bin Mania, Zanesville’s newest overstock discount store, opened its doors at 10 a.m. with more than 200 eager shoppers lined up outside.

Inside, customers are met with bins and shelves full of marked-down items, including toys, furniture, clothing, and more—making it a bargain hunter’s paradise. The excitement doesn’t stop at the price tags. Organizers say it’s all about creating an experience that’s fun and engaging for the community.

“The excitement, the upbeat, the fun, the craziness that’s inside of Bin Mania, the music, the everything—when we see the smiling faces on these people and we’re able to give these people just stuff that they might not have been able to afford or be able to find anywhere else—that’s when I get excited,” said Bin Mania Owner Ben Davis.

Just a few steps away, Jamie’s Cheesesteaks also celebrated its grand opening. The new food spot is the latest venture for co-owners Kris Henderson and Alan Bruns.

Jamie’s Cheesesteaks, named after Kris Henderson’s grandfather, offers a flavorful menu of customer favorites—including their whisky bacon sandwich, tots, and a rotating selection of house-made cheesecakes.

Bin Mania features daily price drops throughout the week. Friday is the big restock day with everything priced at $9. From there, prices drop to $7 on Saturday, $4 on Monday, $3 on Tuesday, $2 on Wednesday, and just $1 on Thursday.
