Dean Dailey

Dean Francis Dailey, 95, of Zanesville, formerly of Adamsville, died Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Helen Purcell Home, Zanesville.
Born May 14, 1930, in Norwich, Ohio, he was a son of the late Russell & Mabel (Cubbison) Dailey and a 1948 graduate of New Concord High School. He was a farmer and served as an Adams Township Clerk for over 30 years. Dean was Co-Owner of Dailey Fence Company for 30 years and a member of the Central Ohio Waggoneers.
Surviving is his four children, Robert Dailey, Charolette (Terry) Emory, Dave Dailey and Michelle (Dan) Robison; seven grandchildren, Steve (Sheree) Dailey, Kevin (Amber) Dailey, Chad (Bambi) Dailey, Tessa (Jeremiah) Irwin, Roy (Danielle Lowe) Dailey Jr., and Amanda (Becky) Corp; nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Heineman; a brother, Carl (Kay) Dailey; daughter-in-law, Kathy Holdsworth; ex-daughters-in-law, Darlene Green and Karen Hagan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alma (Graham) Dailey, who died October 23, 2002; a son, Roy D. Dailey; two brothers, Wayne and Herb Dailey; a sister, Velma Dailey; special lady friend, Gloria Swingle; father and mother-in-law, Clyde (Lois) Graham; brother-in-law, William Forest “Frosty” Graham; two sisters-in-law, Darlene Graham and Marilyn Dailey; and furry friend, Mac.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff at the Helen Purcell Home, for their amazing, caring and loving staff. Dean loved them all very much.

Family and friends may call 5:00-8:00PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil and Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the funeral home with Pastor Mike and Melody Foster officiating.
Dean will be laid to rest next to his wife, Alma, at New Hope Cemetery, Adamsville.
