Dean Kehl

Dean Kehl, 68, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at his residence. He was born December 13, 1957, in Zanesville to Robert and Violet Frazier Kehl. He retired from Owens Illinois. Dean enjoyed motorcycles, old cars, racing, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, football and listening to his rock and roll music loud.

In addition to his mother, Violet Kehl; he is survived by his wife Kathryn Durant Kehl; two sons: Kyle Kehl and Sean Kehl; his daughter Danielle Kehl; two sisters: Hope (Mike) Riley and Deb (Mike) Spinks; and his grandchildren: Leo Grimes, Brodey Besser, Aurora Besser, Kayden Besser, Aubree Besser, Nathaniel Kehl, Aaron Kehl, Naomi Harmon and Ava Harmon.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Kehl.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 PM, Saturday, April 11, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The service will begin at 3 PM in the Snouffer Chapel. Cremation care has been entrusted to The Snouffer Crematory.
