Death Under Investigation

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office reports that the Crooksville Police Department were called to a home on Washington Street in the village.

Authorities report that the call came in as a dead on arrival. Right now, the death is under investigation as they try and determine if it’s a possible homicide case. Police say it appears a woman was beaten to death. The Bureau of Crimininal Investigation has been called to the scene.
