Deceased Male Found in Creek Bed

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says a deceased male has been found Thursday in a creek bed off of State Route 146.

The Sheriff says the body was found just past the Creamery Road area near Dillon Park Road.  Lutz says a Culvert company was doing some work in the area and discovered the body.  He says the body had been there for a while and initial inspection indicated it was a white male. Sheriff Lutz says there is a missing person report out of Coshocton County and they are following up on that lead.

The body will be sent to the Coroner for an autopsy with hopes it will help with identification.   If anyone has any information that can help the investigation they are asked to call the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office at 740 452-3637.
