Delores Mae “Sis” Roberts, 88, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 6, 2025 while in the care of the Ohio Health Kobacker House in Cloumbus. Sis, as she was affectionately known, was born on April 19, 1937 to the Late Fredrick & Margaret (Porter) Lichtner. She was married for more than sixty years to David C. Roberts, who passed away on December 22, 2018. Their partnership was marked by devotion and hard work. In their retirement, Sis and Dave enjoyed travelling and attending sporting events, especially college basketball. Delores had a successful career as a Purchasing Agent at McGraw Edison until she retired. Her work ethic, reliability, and commitment earned her the respect of colleagues and friends alike. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong resident of the Zanesville area.

Sis is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Henry of Waverly, Ohio. her son, Mark (Wendy) Roberts of Zanesville, her five grandchildren, Heather (Chad) Keesee, Shane Henry, Nicholas (Taylor) Roberts, Cameron (Haley) Roberts, and Carley Roberts all of Zanesville; she also leaves to cherish her memory her 10 great-grandchildren with another on the way, her sister, Deborah (Kevin) Deal of Chandlersville, Ohio; as well as her sisters-in-law, Patsy Lichtner, Ruth Lichtner, and Mary Roberts.
In addition to her parents Delores is preceded in death by her husband, David C. Roberts, to whom she was married to for 62 years, and her brothers, Jerry, Fritz and Chuck Lichtner, her sister, Linda Lee, and her Son-in-Law, Van Henry.

Thursday, December 11, 2025 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, and one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, December 12, 2025 at the funeral home with Pastor Patrick Donnelly officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
