OBERLIN, Ohio – Denison senior Jordan Holmes is closing in on the NCAA DIII women’s basketball all time career rebound record.

Coming into Saturday’s game with Oberlin, Holmes was just eight rebounds shy of Gallaudet’s Ronda Jo Miller’s record. Her five rebounds in a seven point loss to the Yeoman puts her just 3 rebounds away from the all time record of 1,545.

Coming into her senior season the Pittsburgh native had 1,283 career rebounds. She has quickly moved up the ranks with 260 rebounds this year. In all likelihood she will surpass the 17-year-old record this Wednesday when the Big Red take on Kenyon.
