Denison’s Holmes sets NCAA rebounding record

GAMBIER, Ohio – Denison senior Jordan Holmes has set the new NCAA DIII women’s basketball career rebounding record.
Holmes entered Wednesday’s game with Kenyon just three rebounds shy of the record of 1,545. Holmes got her third rebound with 7:26 to play in the second quarter. Overall she pulled down 17 rebounds in the Big Red’s 41-38 loss to the Kenyon Ladies. Her new mark surpasses Gallaudet’s Ronda Jo Miller’s 17-year-old record.
Holmes now has 277 total rebounds on the season. The Big Red still have seven games left in the regular season.
