Dennis Hennell

Dennis Roy Hennell, 82 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024, at Senior Star at Dublin Retirement Village.
He was born on June 18, 1941, in Los Angelas, California, son of the late Clyde Hennell and Margarett McElroy. He owned and operated Lynell Incorporated, serving oil wells for many years. He was active with the Sub Aquatics Scuba Diving Club and in his free time loved to fish in the Sierras of California.
He is survived by his daughter, Melanie (Roger) Gedminas; son, William Hennell; wife, Jacque (Penn) Hennell; grandchildren, McKenna, Jacob, Maggie, Lincoln, William, Evi, Ryan; great grandchildren, Easton, Autumn; brother, Kenny Hennell; sisters, Peggy Scott, Helen Leavely; previous wife, Suzanne Hennell; and special friends, Bill Mills and Steve Carter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Margarett (McElroy) Hennell.
Per Dennis’ wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A caring cremation will take place through DeLong- Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.
