Design Meeting For Kidzville At Secrest Auditorium

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The City of Zanesville wants your thoughts and opinions for the new Kidzville design.

The design meeting is set for Tuesday, April 5th at 2:30 p.m. in the basement of Secrest Auditorium.

“Reaching out into the community and inviting them to a planning meeting to just receive input. I think that’s important that the community can wrap their arms this. And say yeah this represents our view,” said City of Zanesville Public Service Director Jay Bennett.

Construction is set to begin this fall in the location of the existing Kidzville park. This meeting is your chance to have your voice heard on the building plans.

“There are going to be a lots of different options to look at for features of a park. We will take that back and see how that fits within the budget. We are not trying to create a black palette that’s not what the effort is,” said Bennett.

Advertising for the new park is set to begin soon in April, though the plans have not yet been finalized.
