Devilette’s Holiday Bazaar returns tomorrow

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A Zanesville favorite is taking over Secrest tomorrow.

The Zanesville Devilette’s will be hosting their annual Devilette Holiday Bazaar. The organization has hosted the event for over 30 years raising money for the team. The event will feature several vendors who will crowd the basement of Secrest selling homemade crafts.

“There’s a lot of people with craft items, jewelry, foods, wooden items. Things that they have personally made. You can find just about everything at a crafts bazaar.”

The holiday bazaar is a good time to get a head start on your Christmas shopping. Proceeds from the fundraiser help support the Devilette’s. The program is able to use the funds to purchase items needed for performances.

“This is one of our big fundraisers that we have yearly and it brings in several thousands of dollars. Which helps pay for uniforms, props, awards at our recognition banquet at the end of the year.”

The kitchen will also be open at the bazaar with homemade soups, sandwiches, pies and more available for sale. A raffle with items donated from the vendors rounds out the day. Doors will open at 9 a.m. and the event will last until 3 p.m..
