Devilette’s Host Annual Holiday Bazaar
The Zanesville high school Devilette’s were busy working their annual holiday bazaar this afternoon.
Each year on the third Saturday of October the Devilette’s host their holiday craft bazaar fundraiser at Secrest Auditorium. The event was held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. today, but Devilette director Wayne Carpenter said the girlswere seen working hard all day long.
"The Devilettes work today, they help serve in the kitchen, we have homemade food provided by our boost organization and the Devilettes serve, we have luncheon all day long. They help the vendors load in and load out and they also keep the vendors with food during the course of the day."
Each vendor table donated $25 to participate and allof the donations were used for the Devilette raffle table.
"We have approximately 80 vendors in, and with their crafts, a lot of homemade crafts, a lot of food, a lot of Christmas decorations. And they come yearly, many of these people come yearly and support our organization that way."
If you missed this years bazaar, be sure to participate next year for great food and homemade crafts.
