Dino Academy Roars into Muskingum County Libraries
ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready to stomp, roar, and travel back in time! The Muskingum County Library System is bringing dinosaurs to life with a fun-filled adventure for young explorers.
MCLS is hosting Dino Academy, a Dinosaur Discovery Show. Families can join Dr. Sarah Tops for a prehistoric adventure packed with lifelike dinosaur puppets, exciting discoveries, and plenty of roaring action.
“Families can look forward to some really fun dinosaur puppets, science, storytelling, and a lot of activity. The kids are going to get very excited about reading, dinosaurs, and learning about natural history.” MCLS the Marketing and Community Relations Director, Sean Fennell, said.
Designed for children in pre-k through 5th grade, the show combines education and entertainment, giving young dinosaur fans the chance to experience prehistoric creatures without ever leaving their seats.
“We hope that when you’re done with the program, you come in and check out all of the books about dinosaurs that you can possibly find. You can continue the learning after the program. That’s a lot of what our programs are intended to do. They’re fun, engaging, events for families to come together and do something cool in the library.” Fennell said.
Dino Academy takes place on Thursday, July 16th at three Muskingum County library System locations: the Dresden Branch LIbrary from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., the John McIntire Library from 2 to 3 p.m., and the New Concord Branch Library from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. To register for the event or for more details, visit the MCLS website.
