Director Tracy Plouck Visits Perry Behavioral Health Choices in New Lexington

PERRY COUNTY- Perry Behavioral Health Choices officials welcomed Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addictions Services Director Tracy Plouck Monday.
She met with local judges, and Perry Behavioral Health Choices board members in New Lexington.
“I’ve been looking forward to this visit for a long time. I think that the establishment of so many services on an continuum in smaller communities is excellent. And I think that it is a great example for other places in Ohio to follow,” said Tracy Plouck.
Perry County judges stress the importance of treatment facilities in the community.
“It’s an honor to meet the director today, it’s also an honor to be in Perry County. We are just trilled to have her here. Also trilled to have Perry Behavioral Health Choices, it’s such a help to the courts. The collaboration we have, the treatment, the cooperation, just the services that’s provided to our county has just been phenomenal,” said Judge Tina Boyer.
“To have a place right on main street for people to get better. That’s what it’s all about. Treatment and people helping in their own community,” said Judge Luann Cooperrider.
Perry Behavioral Health Choices Executive Director and Medical Manager Theressa Snyder said they want people to be successful in their recovery.
